PURPOSE:To exhibit superior resistance to plasticizer and diazo developer characteristics as well as good printability even for a high-speed recording, by using a specified tetrahalophthalic derivative metallic salt as a color forming agent. CONSTITUTION:Color reaction of a colorless or light-colored basic dye with a color forming agent capable of coloring when coming in contact with a dye, is made use of. As the color forming agent, at least one kind of tetrahalophtalic derivertive metallic salts shown by a general formula (I) or (II) is employed. IN the formula; R1 represents a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl grouyp, a substituted or unsubstituted unsaturated alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, or a aralkyl group, R2 and R3 represent a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted unsaturated alkyl group, an aryl group or alalkyl group, M represents a polyvalent metal, X1-X3 represent a halogen atom. The compounds shown by the general formulas (I) and (II) have suitability for a high-speed recording and exhibit superior resistance to plasticizer and diazo developer characteristics. |
