PURPOSE:To prevent dust flaw on a thin plate inner layer base material by vacuum adsorbing a thin plate material to be set up, lowering same with the upper part thereof held by a gripper, correcting a warp of the plate material from the bottom, and storing the thin plate material at fixed intervals. CONSTITUTION:A vacuum pad 8 is forced to stick to a base material by a vacuum device 10, a fin 7 is rotated to be vertical, and the fin is moved to a hand 18 side. When the base material reaches the hand 18, a motor 17 is driven, with the hand 18 opened, so that the hand 18 is lowered to hold the upper part of the base material. Subsequently, the device 10 is stopped to release the base material from the fin 7. Previously, a truck is positioned at a designated position, and the base material can be inserted in the truck by a clamp device 60. When the hand 18 is lowered, the lower end of the base material is guided by a base material guide 21, and the base material is inserted in space of fixed pitch of the truck to be clamped in the truck.
