PURPOSE:To perform rust preventive coating at low cost by executing rust preventive resin coating of a reinforcing steel while it is still hot after hot rolling or hot drawing and melting and hardening the resin by the heat of the reinforcing steel integrally with the steel. CONSTITUTION:Reinforcing steel 1 at high temp. immediately after hot rolling or hot drawing and cutting to a fixed length is, in the first stage, passed through a removing device 3 for sticking material, then transferred to a temp. adjusting device 4 of the reinforcing steel. The temp. of the reinforcing steel 1 at high temp. is adjusted to appropriate temp., and resin powder is sprayed to the steel with a spray coating device 5. Thus, the resin is melted and hardened by the heat of the reinforcing steel to form one body with the steel. 1. By this process, resin coating for rust prevention of an external surface of a reinforcing steel without leaving pinholes is performed utilizing the internal heat of the steel at low cost without requiring additional heat.
