PURPOSE:To facilitate the connections to insulating layers between plated layers, to outer electrodes, or to lead wires, by rigidly attaching protruded plated layers to the end surfaces of inner electrodes in every other layer. CONSTITUTION:At the one side, where inner electrodes are exposed, electric plating is applied to the end surfaces of the inner electrodes 2, 2.... Thus protruded parts 3, 3... comprising metal conductors are provided. Recess parts are filled with insulating materials 4, 4..., and the end parts of remaining electrodes 2', 2'... are insulated. At the other side, where the inner electrodes are exposed, electric plating is applied to the end surfaces of the inner electrodes 2', 2'..., which do not undergo the electric plating, and protruded parts 3', 3'... comprising metal conductors are provided. Recess parts are filled with insulating materials 4', 4'.... Thus the end parts of the remaining inner electrodes 2, 2... are insulated. The protruded metal conductor parts at the side surfaces are connected by conductors 5 and 5'. |
