PURPOSE:To prevent nose-downing at braking by a constitution wherein a relief valve is provided on a passage connecting an oil chamber in an outer tube and an oil chamber in an auxiliary cylinder connected through thereto, and said valve is interlocked with a brake means so that the set load is improved at braking. CONSTITUTION:A hydraulic buffer comprises inserting an inner tube 2 slidably in an outer tube 1 and installing a hollow rod 4 sliding with the interior of the inner tube 2 on the outer tube 1. Further, there are provided oil chambers A, B expansive inversely to an elongation of said inner tube 2 and an oil chamber C connected through to the oil chambers A, B and provided with a first air chamber (not illustrated), and an auxiliary cylinder 9 provided with a second air chamber 12 is provided through to the oil chamber A at the same time. In this case, a relief valve 20 whereby a set load is improved at braking in interlocking with a brake means through a pipe 29 is provided on a passage 11 connecting an oil chamber D of the auxiliary cylinder 9 and the oil chamber A. |
