PURPOSE:To enable reduction of a signal wiring and to enable protection of an engine during disconnection, by providing a means which actuates a phase shifting means simultaneously with generation of a fail signal when the input of a phase shifter is in an open set. CONSTITUTION:A switching circuit 11 controls feed to an ignition coil 12 through a knock detecting part 101 and an ignitor circuit part 102. A noise signal component is removed from an output from an acceleration sensor 1 by means of a frequency filter 2 and an analogue gate 3. A fail safe circuit 13 detects a trouble on a vibration acceleration detecting system. A theoretical sum of outputs from a comparator 6 and a fail safe circuit 13 is inputted to an OR circuit 21. This enables reduction of signal wiring and permits protection of an engine even when the signal wiring is disconnected. |
