PURPOSE:To prevent oil contamination by arranging the outlet of a first screw block and the inlet of a second screw block adjacent to the gear casing of a speed change gear and equalizing differential pressure between operating spaces of both blocks and the inside of the casing. CONSTITUTION:First and second stage screw blocks 2 and 3 are connected to a gear casing 11 via flanges 15 and 16, respectively. And, the outlet 2i of the first stage screw block 2 is arranged on the side close to the gear casing 11 of a driving gear mechanism 1 for both rotors 20 and 21, the inlet 3i of the second stage screw block 3 is arranged on the side close to the gear casing 11 of both rotors, and the outlet and inlet 2i and 3i, respectively, have the same pressure level. Thus, since the pressure in the region of operating space close to the gear casing 11 in both screw blocks 2 and 3 can be substantially equalized, that is, the differential pressure between these regions and the inside of the gear casing 11 can be equalized, the contamination of the operating spaces due to an oil can be prevented.
