发明名称 FINE PARTICLE DETECTOR FOR LIQUID
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable the detection of finer particles, by arranging a light receiving mechanism so that a scattered light detectable area is located at the part of a laser light where the intensity distribution of the laser light is almost uniform. CONSTITUTION:A laser light 16a of an internal mirror type laser light generator 16 which generates a laser light multiple in the transverse mode is focused with a lens 17 to be projected to a flow cell 1 through which a measuring liquid 2 runs at the right angle viewed from the paper surface. A light receiving mechanism 20 comprising a focus lens 4, an opening member 6 and a photoelectric converter 5 is provided along the C1-C2 axis of the cell 1 to detect the scattered light due to fine particles contained in the measuring liquid 2. Here, the light receiving mechanism 20 is so arranged that a scattered light detectable area 8 is always located at a part where the intensity distribution of the laser light is uniform. This can keep the detectable area from reducing regardless of contraction in the laser light thereby permitting the detection of finer particles.
