PURPOSE:To make data communication possible even if the processing form is different between processing terminals, by storing data received from one general purpose interface and outputting the stored data from another general purpose interface. CONSTITUTION:A data buffer 2-d and sub-general purpose interface bus (sub- GPIB) 2-f are inserted between a printer 2-c and general purpose interface bus 2-e. The data buffer 2-d receives and stores a series of data transferred from a data processor 2-a through the GPIB 2-e at a high speed instead of the printer 2-c and, on the other hand, transfers the stored data to the printer 2-c through the sub-GPIB 2-f. Thus the data buffer 2-d has a repeating function. The data buffer 2-d operates as the printer 2-c on the main GPIB 2-e against the data processor 2-a and as the data processor 2-a on the sub-GPIB 2-f against the printer 2-c. Because of the data buffer 2-d and sub-GPIB 2-f, the data processor 2-a can transfer data to be transferred to the printer 2-c to the data buffer 2-d at a high speed irrespectively of the processing speed of the printer 2-c.
