<p>PURPOSE:To attain accurate time matching by allowing the 1st equipment to send time signal, allowing the 2nd equipment to attain time matching. receiving the time signal from the time signal to calculate a transmission delay and sending again the time signal advanced for the delay. CONSTITUTION:A host computer 1 sends a time signal S9 to a terminal equipment 2 at a point of time A of a clock mechanism 4 under the management, the terminal equipment 2 receives this signal S9 with a delay of a transmission delay time T12 and sets the clock mechanism 5 under the management to the time A at a pont of time A'. Then the terminal equipment 2 sends a time signal S11 to a host computer 1 at a time B'. Let the time signal be B, then the point of time receiving the time signal by the host computer 1 is retarded further than the time B and a delay amount T13 is double to the transmission delay time T12. The host computer 1 sends a time E advanced by a half of delay amount T13 as a time signal S14 at a time D and the terminal equipment 2 matches the own clock mechanism 5 to the advanced time.</p> |
