PURPOSE:To delete a movement of a signal line of photoelectric converter and to resolve a complicated holding mechanism or a fear of disconnection by moving a plane reflecting mirror to perform a two-dimensional scanning with the photoelectric converter fixed. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric converter 7 is a one-dimensional sensor and fixed at a fixed position outside an optical path of an optical lens 6. In proportion to a rotating angle of a drive motor 8, a fulcrum 2 moves at right angles with an optical axis. The fulcrum 2 is situated on a bisector B of an image forming plane A of the photoelectric converter 7 and the optical lens 6. A sliding support shaft 3 is held by a bearing 4 so as to pass its center line on the photoelectric converter 7. In this manner, a mirror image with respect to the plane reflecting mirror 1 of the photoelectric converter 7 is situated on an intersection P of a center line of the sliding shaft 3 and the image forming plane A and all beams of light incident on the point P from the optical lens 6 are reflected by the plane reflecting mirror 1 and are made incident on the photoelectric converter 7. By the movement of the fulcrum 2, a scanning function equal to moving the photoelectric converter 7 on the image forming plane A is obtained.
