PURPOSE:To prevent hunting and to cope with a steady-state or temporary fluctuation of the operating characteristic by correcting a basic controlled variable based on a position deviation with a correction amount integrated from the initial value at the increase/decrease mode based on the comparison between the position change and the setting value. CONSTITUTION:A basic controlled variable deciding means 6 decides a basic controlled variable to a drive means 2 corresponding to a position deviation between an actual position of an object 1 to be controlled detected by a position detection means 3 and an object position set by an object position deciding means 4. A position change amount detecting means 7 detects the position change of the controlled system 1 at each prescribed period, a comparison object 8 discriminates that the position change is below a prescribed value, a correction amount deciding means 10 generates a correction value in terms of integration at each generation of comparison output and uses a reset means 11 so that the correction amount is changed in terms of integration from the initial value at each switching drive mode. A drive signal generating means 9 generates a drive signal corresponding to the controlling variable being the correction of the basic controlled variable by the said correction amount to control the drive means.
