PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain a transfer material having a peculiar and novel print pattern, by heating a dye to the sublimation temp. thereof by a heating means and applying the material characteristics possessed by a transfer material to a material to be transferred. CONSTITUTION:Transfer paper (dye paper) 3, to which a thermally sublimable dye was applied, is used and contacted with the back surface of a leaf to be heated, for example, by an iron as a heating means to apply the thermally sublimable dye 2 applied to the transfer paper (dye paper) 3 to the back surface of the leaf. Next, the leaf being a tinted autumnal leaf as the transfer material 1 having the thermally sublimable dye 2 applied to the back surface thereof by the above-mentioned method is contacted with a material 5 to be transferred in the side of the dye applied surface thereof and, for example, padding paper 6 is arranged to the upper surface of the leaf and the dye 2 is heated to the sublimation temp. thereof through said paper 6, for example, by an iron 4. It is desirable that a heating temp. is about 200 deg.C and a heating time is about 60sec. |
