PURPOSE:To enhance the comfortability, by arranging such that the selection between upper and lower air blow-out ports in accordance with a required temperature of blow-out air in dependence upon whether the ambient temperature exceeds a predetermined value or not. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of air blown into the passenger's compartment 34 is computed in accordance with the amount of heat-exchange by a heat- exchanger 1, and the selection between upper and lower air blow-out ports 31, 32 is made by an upper and lower air blow-out port change-over means in accordance with the computed temperature. Meanwhile, a discriminating means 6 compares the ambient temperature 5 with a predetermined temperature, and the result of the comparison is delivered to a control means 7 which forcingly controls the change-over means 4 so that the latter selects the upper air blow-out port 31 alone when the result 7 of the discrimination for the ambient temperature indicates that the ambient temperature exceeds the predetermined temperature. With this arrangement, the transient temperature into the heat mode or into the vent mode is made to be variable in accordance with the ambient temperature in the bilevel mode, thereby it is possible to enhance the comfortability. |
