A set according to the invention comprises a number of rows of equidistant containers 2 having a cross section in the shape of a double dovetail. The openings of these containers are interconnected by a plate 4 which is moulded in one single piece with the containers. The openings 3 of the containers are situated in the plane of the upper face of the plate 4. The bottom of each container is open and it is partially closed by a small removable plate. One application is the cultivation in a nursery of forest or ornamental seedlings intended to be transplanted into open ground. <IMAGE>
