PURPOSE:To make a device light-weight and improve the measurement accuracy by constituting the center part of a one-body plate-shaped structure, whose center part and peripheral part are connected by four beams at least, into a load plate to be loaded. CONSTITUTION:The center part and peripheral parts 2 of the plate-shaped structure are connected by four beams 3, and the center part is constituted into a load plate 1 to be loaded. Transverse grooves 30 and longitudinal grooves 31 are formed to form four beams 3. Consequently, the load plate 1 is held in air by four beams 3 projected from peripheral parts 2. When a load acts upon the load plate 1 from above, a shearing strain is caused in positions of beams 3. The shearing stain caused in beams 3 is used, and the extent of this strain is amplified electrically by a strain gauge and is detected to measure the weight.
