The present invention relates to novel electronic boards and to minicomputers equipped with these boards. A minicomputer according to the invention is of the type comprising, on the one hand, a frame 1 equipped with a rack 2a, 2b and with connectors 4a, 4b connected together by bus lines and, on the other hand, electronic boards 3 which are engaged in the rack and which comprise, along their rear edge, connectors 5a, 5b which plug into the bus connectors 4a, 4b. An electronic motherboard according to the invention comprises a hollowed-out rectangular window 9 of predetermined dimensions. It comprises three connectors 10, 11, 12 placed along the three sides of this window. It furthermore carries fixed logic circuits comprising a microprocessor and the logic interface with the communication protocol used. This motherboard can receive various additional rectangular electronic boards also carrying three connectors which plug into the connectors 10, 11, 12. These additional boards carry circuits and electronic components which carry out specific functions. One application is the construction of minicomputers which can be easily adapted by manufacturers or by users to specific applications. <IMAGE>
