PURPOSE:To check a capacitor of a word line discharge circuit by providing an auxiliary bonding pad to a chip constituting a semiconductor storage device and giving a high potential to measure its input radio wave. CONSTITUTION:The check circuit consists of diodes D1, Di (equal to the number of word lines), a common resistor R, and an auxiliary bonding pad PD, and the other end of the diodes D1, Di is connected to connecting points a1, ai with bases of a transistor Q12 and a capacitor C1 of a discharge circuit. In connecting a power supply E and an ammeter A in series and bringing the other end into contact with a pad of a power supply VEE, a circuit of PD-R-VEE and a circuit of PD-D1-C1-VEE, PD-Di-Ci-VEE,... are formed and a current flows to the ammeter A. When the C1, Ci,... are normal, the circuit including them has a momentary flow of a charging current and the ammeter A shows a current flowing to the resistor R as a steady-state value. If any of the C1, Ci is short-circuited, a current of a large value flows in steady-state and then the indication of the ammeter A is maximized. |
