STERN TUBE REAL DEVICE

The stern tube seal device has an annular case member arranged in outer periphery of a shaft. A gap between both the members is sealed in multiple stages by using a number of seal members such as a segment seal member, a lip seal member and the like. Pressurised gas is fed at the rear of the segment seal member which forms one of these seal members to enhance a seal effect by pressure of the gas.
