PURPOSE:To surely secure a glass pane to a window glass member forming mould for manufacturing a window glass member for vehicles, etc., having a gasket integrally attached to the periphery of the window glass pane, by providing space holding members in the gasket moulding cavity in the window glass member forming mould so that the glass pane is spaced from the inner wall of the mould. CONSTITUTION:Space holding members 9 are disposed between the inner wall surface of a gasket moulding cavity 8 which is defined among upper and lower moulds 6, 7 and the outer surface of a glass pane 1, and the end face 10 of the glass pane 1. In this arrangement a gasket moulding material is filled in the cavity 8 to form a gasket at the periphery of the glass pane 1. In this arrangement the space between the glass pane 1 and the inner surface 1 of the mould may be surely held due to the provision of the space holding members 9, thereby it is possible to enhance the accuracy of shape and dimentions of the gasket. |
