PURPOSE:To prevent finger print, dust or flaws on the surface of an information recording disc at storage by using a member where long sides of many rigid strip plates are connected by flexible connectors to arrange the plates continuously and a soft buffer member is stuck on one side as an outer packing plate. CONSTITUTION:In the information recording disc 14 inserted in a recording and reproducing device and its containing package, the outer package plate 15 is wound up and the information recording disc 14 is picked up by the recording and reproducing device. Since the outer package plate 15 is made of the connection of strip plate, the plate are wound cylindrically in the recording and reproducing device, and the effect of the face deflection of the information recording disc on the containing package is not given, the profile of the package can be thin. The disc 14 is closed tightly by the upper and lower plates 11, 15 and holding frames 12, 17 and prevented from finger print and external dust. Further, the soft buffer member 16 is stuck on the information recording disc face of the outer package, the surface of the disc receives almost no flaw.
