The invention relates to a process and a machine for hot compression-moulding, from a thermosetting synthetic resin, of good-looking parts provided with a coating. The process is of the type consisting in heating a mould 4, 5, in applying to a portion 4 of the latter a layer of thermosetting coating substance and in subsequently moulding the so-called resin so as to form the main thickness of the part. The demoulding consists, in a first phase, in half opening the mould 4, 5, in a second phase in injecting a gas through a valve 19 into the mould portion 4 in contact with the coated face, in a third phase in opening the mould and, in a fourth phase, in mechanically ejecting the part by means of synchronised pushers 27. The process of the invention makes it possible to manufacture large-sized three-dimensional parts such as baths, without deformation or deterioration of the coating. <IMAGE> |
