The present invention relates to a window assembly intended in particular for a marine structure such as a ship or an offshore platform accommodation module. This window assembly comprises a tunnel which is accommodated transversely in a main opening provided in an outer metal wall 10 of the structure and which comprises a first tunnel or main tunnel 14 whose periphery is defined by an angle bracket connected on the one hand to the outer wall 10 along the said main opening and on the other hand to a second tunnel or secondary tunnel 16 delimited by a generating line perpendicular to the outer wall 10, forming a secondary opening having a dimension less than that of the main opening, fastening means 52, 54 being provided to fasten the window 18 to the secondary tunnel. <IMAGE>
