In this motor/indexer, in which the shaft 3 is driven in rotation via an eccentric 12 and via a movable magnetic piece 9 arranged between the shaft and the stator 5, the latter includes a magnetic circuit 7 which extends circumferentially around at least part of the movable magnetic piece 9 and which magnetically links the poles 6a, 6b of the stator in order to close up the magnetic flux created by the induction coil 8; the casing 1 is made of a magnetic material and the movable magnetic piece is coupled magnetically to the casing across an air gap situated at one of the ends of the movable magnetic piece; the permanent magnet 14 is arranged outside the path 17 followed by the magnetic flux of the induction coil 8 in the said magnetic circuit of the stator and in the movable magnetic piece. <IMAGE>
