PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition having improved mechanical properties such as impact resistance, tensile strength, flexural strength, etc., by compounding a polyester resin with a specific modified ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer and an inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts. (wt.) of a polyester resin is compounded with (B) 0.5-120 pts. of a modified ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer grafted with an alpha,beta-unsat urated carboxylic acid compound of formula (n is 0-4; m is 1-10; R<1> and R<2> are H or alkyl; R<3> is H, alkyl or carboxyl) or with the above compound in combination with an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid or its anhydride, (C)0.5-120 pts. of an inorganic filler having a particle diameter of 0.1-500 muand, if necessary, (D) 0.01-5 pts. of an epoxy compound. The component B is the one having a crystallinity of <=75% and an MI of 0.01-50, and the component C is preferably a silica-based filler. |
