PURPOSE:To perform a turnover restoration at the time of capsization easily without fail, by installing a buoyancy generating device in a handle part, in case of a small craft installing a steering handle, which juts out upward from a deck, in the front of a deck embarking part. CONSTITUTION:In case of a small craft which installs an embarking part 14 in the rear of a deck 3 and also installs a steering handle 9, jutting out upward from the deck 3, in the front of the embarking part, a buoyancy generating device is installed in the steering handle 9. As the means, for example, a pad of foaming polyethylene, urethane foam, or the like is attached to this handle 9. According to this method, the buoyancy generating device is installed in the handle 9 located at the highest position in the craft whereby couple moment by the buoyancy is made larger and, what is more, a turnove restoration at the time of capsization is easily performable without fail.
