PURPOSE:To use an endless transporting member as a three-dimensional transmission system without a slip by providing an endless transporting member which comprises a main body portion formed by putting spheroids in a row and a reinforcing core wire, and forming hemispherical concave portions by the same pitch as that of the spheroids on the outer periphery of a pulley. CONSTITUTION:An endless transporting member 1 comprises a main body portion 4 made of an elastic material formed by putting spheroids 2 in a row and a reinforcing core wire, and hemispherical concave portions 13 fitted to the spheroids 2 are formed by the same pitch as that of the spheroids on the outer periphery of a pulley 10, whereby the endless transmitting member can be used as a three-dimensional transmission system unlike a toothed belt without a slip between the endless transmitting member and the pulley in the same manner as the toothed belt transmission. Thus, the driving mechanism of a machine can be simplified. |
