PURPOSE:To clear the influence given to the adaptability of the connecting place of the equipment increased and the efficiency of the system as whole by providing the master station to connect to an LAN, transmit and receive a dummy signal for measuring the load, etc., and accumulate the measuring data, and the slave station to return the confirming signal. CONSTITUTION:When a terminal device is increased at a LAN system, a load measuring device master station 2 is connected to the place to be increased, a load measuring device slave station 9 is connected to the adjoining place of a computer 14, and the pattern of the data transmitted by the terminal device are registered to a dummy signal data base 5 by using a CRT displaying device 7. When the master station 2 transmits the dummy signal through an LAN 1 to the slave station 9, the slave station 9 stores the signal to a measuring data base 6a, and thereafter, a receiving confirming signal is immediately returned to the master station 2, and the master station stores it to a measuring data base 6 together with the receiving time. The above-mentioned communication is executed several times of the pattern and at the different time zone, the measured data are collected, and based upon the measuring data accumulated after measurement, the response of the terminal device, the load condition of the route to the computer 14, the influence to the system as a whole, etc., are obtained.
