PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit constitution of a varying device and to reduce its cost by providing a frequency converting circuit outputting a frequency signal which is different according to set condition to a frequency divider. CONSTITUTION:The output of an oscillation circuit 1 is sent to the frequency dividing circuit 2, plural frequency division outputs of which are supplied to one input terminal of a selector 3. Further, plural signals from a step number setting circuit 4 and a frame number setting circuit 5 which are set manually and the output of a counter circuit 6 are applied to the other input terminal of the selector 3, which sends a frequency signal as a clock signal to a terminal 10. A signal from a photography end detecting circuit 20 is inputted to the terminal 11 of a counter 6 and both outputs of the frame number setting circuit 5 and the counter 6 are applied to a coincidence detection circuit 7, whose coincidence detection output is transmitted to flip-flops 8 and 9. The output of the flip-flop 8 is sent to a terminal 12 and the output of the flip-flop 9 is sent to the flip-flops 8 and 9. Consequently, the circuit constitution is simplified and therefore inexpensive.
