PURPOSE:To realize not only smooth movement at the starting time of slant rotation but also reduction in size and weight of a cradle type support structure for a swash plate by improving an oil supply passage to perform oil supply to the swash plate from the pump chamber side. CONSTITUTION:An oil sump groove 8b is provided on the receiving face 8a of a holder 8 on the back side of a swash plate 7. An oil supply passage 7c piercing through said plate 7 is provided in such a manner as its one end always communicates with the oil sump groove 8b. The other end of said passage 7c is opened on its face part 7a in contact with a shoe. Further, an oil supply hole communicating with the pump chamber of a piston is provided on the shoe, while this hole is put in intermittent communication with the oil supply passage 7c according to rotation of a main shaft so that pressurized oil is supplied to the oil sump groove 8b.
