发明名称 REGENERATION OF DIESEL EXHAUST GAS MINUTE PARTICLE CATCHING BODY
摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To reduce the quantity of energy added from outside by positively utilizing the combustion heat of minute particles in the combustion removal of the exhaust gas minute particles accumulated onto a catching body made of ceramics periodically and with low electric capacity. CONSTITUTION:When the output of a back-pressure sensor 8 for detecting the back- pressure value of a catching body 3 for catching the minute particles of Diesel exhaust gas becomes over a prescribed value and the time of regeneration of the catching body 3 lapses, opening and closing valves 6 and 7 are operated by a controller 12, and the flow rate of exhaust gas in an exhaust gas passage 1 is adjusted to 50-300l/min. The exhaust gas is heated over 400 deg.C through the electric conduction of an electric heater 9 installed onto the upstream side of the catching body 3, and said heater 9 is turned-OFF when the temperature of the center part A of the catching body which is detected by the first thermocouple 10 becomes over the combustion starting temperature. After the electric heater 9 is turned-OFF, the opening and closing valves 6 and 7 are controlled, and the flow rate of exhaust gas in the passage 1 is adjusted so that the temperature at the center part A of the catching body is kept at 1,000 deg.C or less.</p>
