PURPOSE:To take a copy without any color shift by arranging an earth electrode on the photosensitive body side of a beltlike conveying means or on its reverse surface and providing a transfer means which applies a transfer electric field so that the beltlike conveying means and a final image support body are put one over the other. CONSTITUTION:Even when an electrode is arranged on a support conveyor belt, a charge from a corotron is supplied to the entire surface of a transfer area, so the pattern of the electrode does not appear in a copy. Further, a transferred toner image attracts itself electrostatically by its own charge, so the image is not disordered even when contacting the support carrier. The support carrier itself is semiconductive and provided with the electrode to apply a voltage, so the potential of the attractive surface is held constant to eliminate image disorder and the attractive force is invariably large and obtained following well up the ON-OFF operation of a power source. Thus, a transfer material does not shift even when passing through plural transfer areas and is not drawn in by a photosensitive drum, so an excellent color copy having no color shift is obtained. |
