PURPOSE:To obtain the molded coil having a high reliability of insulation by a method wherein a molding work is performed in an insulating gas atmosphere, and residual voids are replaced by insulating gas. CONSTITUTION:The air and the moisture in a coil 1 are removed by performing a heat treatment in a vacuum atmosphere. Insulating gas is introduced into a furnace 3 from a gas cylinder 7 in the process subsequently performed. The vacant space in the coil 1 is turned to the state wherein it is replaced by the insulating gas. Then, under the above-mentioned state, the molding resin in a resin tank 9 is introduced into a metal mold 2 using a pump 8. Subsequently, the pressure in the furnace 3 is boosted by introducing the insulating gas again into the furnace 3 using a pressure pump 6. Under the pressurized state, the molded resin heated by a heater 4 is hardened. |
