PURPOSE:To decrease the driving powder for work conveyance and to reduce the sizes of a driving mechanism and vertical driving means by mounting handling arms which can hold the work to an arm carriage movable on a vertically movable guide rail and connecting a driving carriage which is run and driven by the driving mechanism thereto. CONSTITUTION:The driving carriage 19 and arm carriage 11 travel on the guide rail 10 when an oscillating arm 23 is oscillated by the driving source and driving shaft 22 of the driving mechanism. The arm carriage 11 is vertically moved as well when the rail 10 is vertically moved by the vertical driving means 45. The work conveyance between respective working stations is executed by the above-mentioned combination. A driving rack 26 is displaced in the longitudinal direction via a connecting rod 33 and a link 35 by operating a DC motor 34 which is the rack driving source. A pair of the handling arms 12a, 12b of each arm carriage 11 are thereby moved to detach from each other in the stage of holding the work and are moved to attach to each other in the stage of standing-by between the working stations.
