METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PIERCING CLOGGED PART IN PIPE

PURPOSE:To regenerate easily the inside wall of a main pipe such as gas pipe by heating the conical tip of a piercing means which has the conical tip and is inserted into the pipe from the terminal of a branch pipe and piercing a hole to a pipe regenerating material clogging the connection port with the main pipe where the piercing means arrives at the connection port. CONSTITUTION:A thrust part 8 mounted with a piercing part 18 is thrusted in the branch pipe by a vacuum system so as to arrive at the clogging part in the pipe. The piercing part 18 is extended with respect to the thrust part 8 in the clogged part and the conical tip 21 of the part 18 is heated by a heater 25 and is pressed to the pipe regenerating material 5 in the clogged part 1 in the pipe. A drum 48 and a rotating device 49 are further operated to feed and rotate further a protective pipe 47. As a result, the hole can be pierced to the pipe regenerating material. The sure and easily piercing of the clogged part in the pipe to be pierced is thus made possible without excavation.
