<p>A multicolour printed geographical map, in particular a street map or land map, is characterised in that it is provided on at least one part of the printed surface with a colorant which fluoresces in the visible region upon irradiation by means of ultraviolet light, and whose luminance is selected such that the fluorescence is essentially invisible in the case of illumination by means of daylight or artificial light containing a component of ultraviolet radiation.
