In a retention pin whose cylindrical shaft is partially inserted into a bore in the hard substance of the teeth and whose part projecting out of the hard substance of the teeth is connected with the filling superstructure, the surface of the retention pin is designed or treated such that the surface area of the retention pin or at least that part of the surface which is intended to be connected with the filling superstructure is considerably increased in comparison with a plane surface. This can be achieved by mechanical or chemical surface treatment, by coating or the like. |
