The invention relates to a shut-in grid for dairy barns having a plurality of feed and bedding-down enclosures, which exhibits a frame on which there are fastened, per enclosure, two shoulder supports on which there are mounted, in turn, in each case one locking tube which can pivot between an open position and a closed position. In the case of said shut-in grid there are guided, on one of the actuating rods, the ends of catching tubes, which are assigned thereto, with a degree of play which provides the movement part of the catching tube between the open position and the closed position and, in a position of readiness of the shut-in grid, the catching tubes, which are guided in this way, are, in their open position, spring-loaded in the direction of their closed position and can be locked.
