<p>The process, for use in coating materials such as wood and its derivs., consists of (a) coating the surface of the object by conventional methods with a synthetic material such as polymerisable monomers; (b) subjecting the assembly to fluid pressure which surrounds it and forces the impregnant to penetrate the material; and (c) repeating the process until the desired depth of penetration is achieved.</p> |
