The hanging products, preferably sausage products, are conveyed to a washing station employing cleaning liquid, through which they are transported between two rows or rotating brushes, the gap between which can be adjusted to the product size, by an endless conveyor. The products then pass through a drying station supplied with blower air and are then coated in a coating station with a batch-supplied medium, a movably arranged dipping tank being provided for changing the medium, which dipping tank receives different coating media in separately partitioned individual tanks. |
