PURPOSE:To make winding feasible without causing deformation of a sheet strip even if a winding diameter grows larger when winding the strip sheet on two cradles, by separating a bending roll on a feeding side of a bender from the strip sheet as the winding diameter of strip sheet grows larger. CONSTITUTION:While the winding diameter of strip sheet 10 is small, bending rolls 12A, 12B are positioned in close contact each other as shown by full line, and the strip sheet 10 is bent by the bender 14 and wound in a coil form above two cradle rolls 16A, 16B. As the winding diameter of strip sheet grows larger, either bending roll 12A or 12B on feeding side moves so as to be separated from the strip sheet 10 as shown by dotted line, and the strip 10 is not restrained between the bending rolls 12A, 12B, and as a result the strip sheet 10 is not deformed at a restraining point and the winding coil of good quality is obtainable.
