4-Aminopolyalkylpiperidine compounds of the formula I <IMAGE> in which R denotes hydrogen, alkyl(C1-18), acyl or oxygen, R1 denotes hydrogen or both R1 together denote -(CH2)3-, R2 denotes hydrogen or both R2 taken together denote -(CH2)3-, R3 denotes hydrogen, alkyl(C1-18) or acyl, X denotes oxygen, -NH- or -N(alkyl-C1-4), m denotes 1, 2, 3 or 4 and Y denotes an m-valent, optionally substituted, saturated or unsaturated aliphatic radical, which can be interrupted by oxygen or sulphur or denotes an aromatic radical which is optionally substituted by hydroxyl, alkyl(C1-4) and/or alkoxy(C1-4), their preparation and use for the stabilisation of polymeric organic materials.
