摘要 <p>Discontinuous wort boiling system for use in beer breweries uses three heat exchange processes. In the first, the liquor is heated to 78 deg. C followed by storage in a first tank. The second heat exchanger raises this temperature by hot vapours to 99 deg.C for a second storage tank. In a third heat exchange process, the strained wort is preheated to 95 deg.C by the liquor of 99 deg.C and recycled to the first storage tank. - Arrangement utilises the thermal energy of the vapours, produced by the boiling either by direct recycling or by using the surplus for extraneous hot water prodn. The water is heated to 78 deg.C in the 1st HEP, to 99 deg.C in the 2nd HEP and the refined wort is heated to 95 deg.C in the 3rd HEP while cooling the water to 78 deg.C.</p>
