PURPOSE:To eliminate a decrease in color developing density per unit weight and to facilitate manufacturing, procurement of raw material, refining and etc. by causing a color developing agent which has at least one of active hydrogens to have reaction with aromatic compound which has a vinyl group or a vinyl group precursor. CONSTITUTION:A color developing agent which has at least one of active hydrogens is caused to have reaction with chemical compounds that are indicated with XArY. In the formula, X indicates vinyl group or vinyl precursor and Y indicates radicals that react with an active hydrogen or with radicals that contain an active hydrogen. The above may be further explained as follows: A color developing agent which has at least one portion which is indicated by an active hydrogen Z-H (Z: oxygen atom. sulfur atom or nitrogen atom) is caused to react with aromatic compounds that have a vinyl group or a vinyl group precursor to manufacture a color developing monomer. Vinyl radicals, vinylidene radicals or haloethyl radicals (for instance, bromoethyl) are used as vinyl group precursor. For the Y, the radicals are used that can form covalent linkage through reaction of addition or condensation to or with an active hydrogen or a radical which has an active hydrogen. |
