PURPOSE:To exactly insert bar-shaped bodies which move freely within a horizontal plane to the central part of cylindrical objects to be plated which are vertically held by a hanger by inserting the bar-shaped bodies into the central holes of said object by using tapered guides attached to the hanger. CONSTITUTION:Many pieces of the cylindrical objects 50 to be plated are supported by attaching jigs 5 and are vertically suspended from the hanger 1 by means of fittings 6. Tapered guides 9, 10, 11 are provided to the main part 1a, upper jigs 2 and lower jigs 3 of the hanger 1. The bar-shaped bodies (electrodes) 16 are held by flat plates 18 and springs 19 into the through-holes 20 of a base 17 and the bodies 16 are made freely movable within the horizontal plane by receiving balls 21. The bodies 16 attached to the base 17 are lowered from above the hanger 17 and are inserted into the central holes of the objects 50 via the tapered guides 9, 10 provided in the upper position of the objects 50. The bodies 16 are thus self-aligned by the guides 9, 10 and are exactly inserted into the central holes of the objects 50.
