PURPOSE:To prevent a spring-back, increase dimensional precision and minimize an internal distortion by stopping compression force at the time of applying a pressure to a resin by the amount of compression and retaining the relative position of a fixed side die and a movable side die or the position of a core. CONSTITUTION:A molten resin is injected into a cavity 4 provided beforehand in the form of a larger size by the amount of compression. Later a fluid pressure is applied to the interior of a hydraulic cylinder 5 to drive a piston and compress the molten resin in the cavity 4 with the movable side die 3a. At that time, a compression operation is performed by the hydraulic cylinder 5 to make a movable side platen 2 advance. This results in the extension of a toggle 6 for die operation to compress the resin by the amount of compression. Consequently, the toggle 6 is fully extended. At this moment, the driving force of the hydraulic cylinder 5 is released to stop a compression operation. After this, the movable side die 3a is stopped by the toggle 6, a retaining means, allowing the relative position of the movable side die 3a and the fixed side die 3b to be maintained. After the curing of the resin through cooling, the dies are opened by the toggle 6 to make the mold product to be taken out. |
