PURPOSE:To make it possible to inform the finish of an ink sheet during printing, by providing a mark showing the finish of an ink sheet to the take-up part of the ink sheet and detecting the same by a photosensor. CONSTITUTION:Photosensors A, B are provided to both side ends of ink sheets 1, 11. At the time of a final plate surface, when the strobe code of a final color, for example, cyan detected by the photosensor A comes black (SB), white, transparency or a mirror surface (Sw) is detected by the photosensor B. By this method, it is detected that said color is a final one by the output states of the photosensors A, B and judgement is performed on the basis of the condition thereof by the control CPU of a printer to perform the display of a sheet end. |
