PURPOSE:To eliminate irregularity in exposure originating from an exposure fogging part by cutting a rolled silver halide photosensitive material to desired length prior to the exposure. CONSTITUTION:The silver halide photosensitive material 12 is rolled and put in a black box 12'. The photosensitive material 12 drawn out of the back box 12' is conveyed in a conveyance part 13 by a series of couples of rollers 14 and 14'-21 and 21' which rotate in pressure contact. In this case, the photosensitive material 12 which is rolled so far is cut to desired size by a cutting member 22 provided in the conveyance path prior to the exposure. Therefore, the photosensitive material 12 is conveyed as a sheet after being cut.
