<p>This apparatus is constituted by a column (10) open over all the vertical extent thereof, the upper end of which carries a fixed guiding sleeve (15) inside which a control rod (16) slides. This rod may be immobilised in a position for which its upper end is at the position which is to be normally occupied, spatially by the body part (4) to be controlled. But this rod may likewise be freed to slide in order to serve as a component for thrusting against the internal face of this body part, if it is necessary to carry out a localised straightening of the latter by means of a jack (23) which may then be placed on the inside of the open column (10) of the present device. This apparatus may be used for controlling, and optionally for straightening, certain specified points of a body, for example the fixing points of the upper ends of MacPherson type shock-absorbers or the fixing points of longitudinal members, etc. <IMAGE></p> |
