PURPOSE:To obtain a simple and portable water purifier capable of removing the odor of a bleaching powder and other impurities from drinking water, by mounting an adsorbent in the water passage of a foldable hollow container opened at both ends thereof. CONSTITUTION:In the use of a water purifier main body 1, when force is added to a direction wherein the oblique side parts 3a, 5a and 3b, 5b in the adhesive sides of two water-proof papers 3, 5 held to a folded state approach to each other, the central parts of the inner walls of both water-proof papers 3, 5 are mutually spaced apart. As a result, the passage 1a communicated with a small opening part 7 from a large opening part 13 is formed inside the water purifier main body 1. Next, a hanging hook part 15 provided so as to be extended to the side of the water-proof paper 5 is folded back to be engaged with the mouth part of a container such as a cup. When water is poured from the large opening part 13 in this state, water passes through the adsorbent 11 in the packing bag attached to the small opening part 7 to be accumulated in the container as purified water.
